Case IH Upgrades Baler Lineup, Bringing High Performance Solutions to Every Field and Season

All-new round balers and redesigned large square balers for more productivity / ISOBUS compatibility / Upgraded precision technology

St. Valentin, November 09, 2025 – To help operators stay profitable and efficient, Case IH is launching the RB6 series variable chamber round baler, designed for superior performance, enhanced durability and maximum operator convenience. In addition, Case IH is introducing Model Year 2026 updates for the LB436 HD and LB4 XL series large square balers to boost productivity and bale quality for producers.

Each baler series includes technology and automation upgrades to maximize throughput and produce consistent, high-quality bales regardless of operator experience. Optional precision technology features such as entry-level or advanced telematics help producers easily manage machine and agronomic data with Case IH FieldOps™.

RB6 series designed for tougher conditions and higher productivity
The new RB6 series is built for trust and tough conditions, delivering greater reliability, usability and connectivity in two models — the RB456 and RB466.

“With larger operations and tighter harvest windows, operators must be efficient in the field,” said Marco Otten, EU business marketing manager, crop packaging at Case IH. “The new RB6 series is built to deliver that efficiency, as well as grit, in every field and more importantly, in every condition.”

An upgraded chain drive system with premium, higher-strength chains boost performance in heavy crops. Triple-seal bearings extend durability by keeping contaminants out and lubricants in. Extruded rollers now feature a seamless design to increase strength and service life. Reinforced rolls and sealed bearings further enhance resilience and reduce maintenance.

RB6 series: technology that simplifies every bale, connects the operation
With ISOBUS as standard, setup is easier and features such as tractor-baler automation are unlocked when paired with Case IH tractors. Automated baling steps — such as stopping when the bale is ready, net start and tailgate operation — improve throughput and reduce fatigue. Functions can be directly controlled from the cab with optional Pro 700 Plus or Pro 1200 displays available for non-ISOBUS tractors.

Optional Case IH connectivity solutions, including Basic and Advanced Telematics, bring baler data into FieldOps for access anytime, anywhere. Operators can view field totals, bale drop locations and moisture data to improve transport, storage planning and customer service with shared agronomic insights.

Large Square Balers with durability and operator-focused design
Model Year 2026 LB4 XL and LB436 HD large square balers feature updates in durability and technology. A new greasing system uses automatic chain lubrication instead of oil, delivering four times longer service intervals and requiring only one fluid, while eliminating the oiler pump system for easier maintenance making pre-field preparation faster and easier.

A new load-sensing package enables bale eject and bale ramp activation from the back of the baler as well as from the cab, adding convenience and efficiency.

Large Square Balers: Baler Automation for every operator
Case IH Baler Automation improves capacity, density, ease of use and overall throughput — even for less experienced operators. Soon compatible with Tractor Implement Management (TIM), the system automatically adjusts tractor speed to match crop flow and density. By monitoring swath consistency and preventing overloads, the baler produces more bales per hour with uniform shape and superior density, while reducing operator fatigue and fuel consumption.
