Deltapine® Brand Celebrates World Cotton Day by Announcing Committed to Cotton Communities Recipients

Program recognizes nonprofit organizations nominated by cotton growers across the Cotton Belt

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Oct. 13, 2026) – In recognition of World Cotton Day on October 7, Deltapine® announced the recipients of its 2026 Committed to Cotton Communities program, a grower-nominated initiative designed to support local nonprofit organizations making a meaningful impact in cotton-growing communities. The program was launched earlier this year to give cotton growers the opportunity to nominate qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations that are helping strengthen rural America.

After reviewing nominations submitted by eligible growers across the Cotton Belt, Deltapine selected organizations representing three major cotton-producing regions: the Southeast, Mid-South, and Texas/West. Together, these organizations demonstrate the values of service, leadership, and community investment that help rural communities thrive.

“At Deltapine, our commitment to cotton extends beyond the field,” said Eric Best, Deltapine Cotton Product Manager. “Through Committed to Cotton Communities, growers identified organizations that are making a real difference in the places they call home. On World Cotton Day, we’re proud to recognize these organizations and celebrate the positive impact they have on families, youth, agriculture, and rural communities.”

The program reflects Deltapine’s ongoing commitment to supporting cotton growers and the communities that sustain the cotton industry. Growers nominated organizations focused on a variety of causes, including education, youth development, agriculture, community well-being, and local outreach efforts. The selected recipients were chosen based on their demonstrated impact and alignment with the program’s mission of strengthening rural communities.

“One of the things that make the cotton industry special is the deep investment growers have in their communities,” said Best. “This program allowed growers to shine a spotlight on organizations that often work behind the scenes but make a lasting difference every day. We do hope the support we provide adds a small token of appreciation for what these organizations contribute to their communities and provide some recognition they don’t always receive but rightly deserve.”

The Committed to Cotton Communities program is part of Deltapine’s broader effort to support the U.S. cotton industry through innovation, advocacy, and community engagement. Find more information on this program at www.deltapine.com.
