MyLand Welcomes Jeff Tuel as Director of Sales to Drive Soil Health Initiatives in the Western United States

Elevating the game on and off the field: Tuel to boost adoption of live, native microalgae in agriculture

PHOENIX, AZ — MyLand, A Soil Health Company, announced today that Jeff Tuel has joined the growing MyLand team as Director of Sales to expand the company’s service among growers in California and the Western United States.

In his role, Tuel will work to share MyLand’s patented system with a broader audience, including his network of growers, to help maximize ROI through improved soil health and reduced inputs.

“MyLand has a tremendous opportunity to quickly drive a positive improvement in soil health, especially in the Western United States where growers face serious challenges like water conservation,” said Tuel. “Using live, native microalgae is a unique approach with powerful outcomes. I am looking forward to partnering with our growers to benefit their ROI and ensure their land can be passed down for generations to come. Without solutions like MyLand, we have as few as 60 crop cycles remaining.”

This role adds a meaningful touchpoint to the MyLand-grower relationship.

“At MyLand, we know that No Two Farms Are Alike™, which is why we take a custom approach to every grower to ensure resilient soil health for generations to come. Tuel’s contributions will help MyLand better serve our existing growers and reach additional growers throughout the region,” says Peter Williams, MyLand President. “There is a reason we have chosen to utilize a soil’s own native microalgae. The process is not something you can buy from a box or out of a jug. It is an intimate relationship with the soil and the farming operation.”

Tuel shares that his love of agriculture began at an early age, following in the footsteps of his father. “My dad has been involved in irrigation for as long as I can remember,” Tuel says. “He inspired me to pursue a career in agriculture, and MyLand’s positive impact for soil and growers is a great fit for how I want to continue to serve the industry.”

A graduate of Washington State University, Tuel holds a degree in Communication and a minor in Business Development and is a former player for the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars. Tuel made his mark on both the cannabis and autonomy-based fertilizer industries before joining MyLand.
