New Orleans is the host of the 21st Annual National Ethanol Conference (#NEC) this week sponsored by the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA). The event will kick off with the State of the Industry delivered by RFA CEO and President Bob Dinneen. The keynote speaker, John Hofmeister, is the former president of the Shell Oil Company, author of the book Why We Hate the Oil Companies: Straight Talk from an Energy Insider, and founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy. Other speakers include U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack.
