Iowa Corn and Iowa RFA Release Study Showing Need for Year-round E15

A new corn supply study, commissioned by the Iowa Corn Growers Association and Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA), shows the urgent need for immediate passage of nationwide, year-round E15 and access to ultra-low carbon ethanol markets to support and sustain the economic drivers in the Cornbelt that are provided by corn production.

The two organizations held a press conference Wednesday releasing the report and sounding the alarm that if Congress fails to include E15 in the spending bill this month, it could be the last chance the industry has to make it happen for some time.

Participants:
Monte Shaw, Executive Director, Iowa Renewable Fuels Association
Mark Mueller, Iowa Corn Growers Association President and farmer from Waverly, IA
David Miller, Chief Economist, Decision Innovation Solutions
