It’s been a busy year for Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, starting with being nominated for the job by President Trump the day before the inauguration.
This week, Sec. Perdue made his first appearance at the National Press Club to talk about USDA’s mission, the 2018 farm bill, trade, and other topics. Last week, he was interviewed by Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network’s Ben Nuelle, who asked about timely topics such as the tax bill and the hold up with Bill Northey’s nomination.
