Monsanto held a media briefing today to provide perspective on recent Dicamba developments.
Monsanto spent years developing XtendiMax® with VaporGrip® Technology to minimize the potential for off-site movement. We are committed to remaining actively engaged in this conversation, doing our part to help farmers use the Roundup Ready® Xtend® Crop System successfully and ensure farmers have access to this important crop protection tool.
Like many others in the agriculture community, we are concerned about the reports of potential crop injury. Assessing the causes of this situation can be complex. It’s important we not jump to conclusions – we need to make decisions based on facts, not speculation. We’re doing our part to understand what is truly happening.
Please join Dr. Robb Fraley, Monsanto chief technology officer, and Lisa Safarian, vice president of Monsanto North America, to hear about how the company is working with farmers to investigate the situation.
Journalists participating were able to ask questions following opening remarks.
