AgNewsWire is the evolution of ZimmComm New Media’s Talking News Release service which began in 2004. Most major agribusiness companies and their agencies have used this unique and innovative method to target agricultural journalists with multimedia news releases. Besides the production and distribution of standard and multimedia news releases the service can also be used to distribute other forms of documents such as daily summaries of event activity that can include links to PowerPoint presentations and recorded audio presentations. We’ve called this a “virtual news room.”
To use AgNewsWire all you have to do is email your release (prefer Word document format) to Chuck or Cindy with instructions on when you want it distributed. If you want ZimmComm to produce multimedia content (sound bites, interviews) then include contact information and date/time for us to call. We’ll record your contact and send you the mp3 file for review and approval prior to distribution. ZimmComm will invoice you at the end of the month of distribution.
